What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're checking out the Konig CG9 Tire Chains on our 2016 Subaru Forester. These are gonna be self tensioning tire chains, they're gonna go on your tires really easily. They're also a diamond pattern. So, once you get them on there, that diamond pattern's gonna have more coverage on the tire versus some other styles that are ladder pattern, that just kind of go across the tire. Those are good for start and stops. more

How's it going It's Ethan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our Konig CB-12 tire chains on our 2016 Subaru Forester. These chains use a diamond pattern. Diamond patterns give you a smoother ride and more contact with the road, makes turning a little bit easier compared to ladder patterns which help with starting and stopping. But when you're turning, they're a little bit more difficult. Taking a closer look at our chains here themselves, they are a square link made of a manganese nickel alloy, that's gonna help you with general corrosion and weather protection against ice and snow and everything like that. more

Eve Angeline: Hi, it's Eve Angeline from etrailer.com, and today we are looking at the Titan Chain Diamond Alloy Snow Tire Chain here on our 2020 Subaru Forester.So, this is a Class S chain, which is great when you don't have a lot of clearance and you need something that's low profile. It's also very easy to install, which is awesome, especially in emergency situations. When you need to pull over real quick, throw that tire chain on, and drive safely.So, the way this is designed is it has a diamond pattern, which means it covers a lot more of your tire, which helps with ABS system. So, when you have your starts and your stops, you won't have to worry about it with this type of chain on. It also has the square links, which really help give that traction you need on the road.One of my favorite features about this is the way our front links are coated as well as colored. So the coating helps protect your tire, as well as your fingers from freezing off if you're not wearing gloves like me, but please wear gloves. more

Some things to know about our snow chains here. These are great for occasional use. These tire chains feature rugged steel wiring covered with case-hardened steel rollers. These are very easy to install and comply with all DOT specifications for front or rear wheel drive vehicles. This is also SAE class S tire chains as well, which means it gives you plenty of clearance between your tire and components behind the tire, and also your fenders or bodywork. All right, Toyota's 2013 Subaru Forester. We're going to take a look at the top four chains that are available for a tire size of P225, 55, R17. First up is from Glacier Chains, part number PW1038. That part number includes these cables right here and the chains and the bars that go across the tire. It's a very simple system, but also the manufacturer recommends a tensioning system as well to help keep them tight on the tire. This is actually, for the most part, it's going to be a two-piece system. This is a separate part number PW105. We'll take a closer look at the crossbars. more
